Established in 1958, the Salverda family has owned and operated Beamsville Bakery & Patisserie since 1974. For the past 40 years, Klaas and son Benjamin have been providing the local community and beyond with baked goods using traditional, scratch-baking practices and techniques.

Located in downtown Beamsville, the location at 4966 King Street East is seeped in history, and local accounts tell us that the building was constructed around 1860. Originally what was called the "Couse House", 4966 King Street East was the section of a hotel and saloon which served passing ranchmen and businessmen in the late 1800's and early 1900's.

With a family history of baking which has journeyed across the Atlantic Ocean from the Netherlands to Canada, in a location rich in history telling much about the founding and development of the local community, we welcome you to experience this unique establishment - and abundance of flavour!
